A foreigner to Slovenia could in these days see this picture in many places, newspapers, television...
How would you explain the importance of the man in the picture for our nation? Why can we read more about him recently?

OK i'm sorry.
1. So Primož Trubar was first who wrote a book in slovenian languge. This was Catecizmus and "Abecednik" which was help for reading Catecizmus.
2. This year is his year. He celebrate 500 years...Happy Birthday.

Primož Trubar (9 June 1508 – 28 June 1586) was a Slovene protestant reformer, the founder and the first superintendent of the Protestant Church of the Slovene Lands, a consolidator of the Slovene language and the author of the first Slovene printed book.
